SenseCheQ receives a new 3-year grant from UKRI EPSRC

We are excited to announce SenseCheQ has been awarded a new 3-year grant (for ~£2m) to continue developing our sensory testing equipment. We were one of 6 funded projects nationally as part of the UKRI Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) initiative called Transforming prediction and early diagnosis in the community.

The 3-year project will see us partner with designworks* in order to deliver an optimized version of the SenseCheQ sensory testing equipment to use in a larger clinical study to determine feasibility of home-based sensory testing in patients having chemotherapy treatment for breast and gastrointestinal cancers.

This would not have been possible without our patient partners, all the volunteers and patients that took part in our studies so far, and the interdisciplinary team that makes up SenseCheQ. We look forward to continuing to work with you all to deliver the next phases of the project. You can find the EPSRC press release HERE.
